Our Story
Queen Bee's located at 3925 Ohio St has been a cornerstone of our community since the 1920s. Originally a Dixie Line, it played a crucial role in providing construction materials that helped shape beautiful North Park and surrounding neighborhoods. After a stint as a 99-cent store, Queen Bee's took possession when the building was on the brink of condemnation, transforming it into a vibrant space for artists, musicians, and families since the 2000s. Now, this historic building has been sold to new owners, and we fear it may be torn down.
Our Goal
We are launching a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for:
-
Securing the building’s historical designation.
-
Relocating Queen Bee's to continue providing a safe and inspiring space for artists, young entrepreneurs, live music, and family events.
